Fishing Report: Lake Pleasant
Lake Pleasant is 74.8 percent full and 1,679 feet of elevation. See a Lake Pleasant water levels map from Maricopa Parks and Recreation Department.

From fishing guide Mike Strole (fishing Saturday, Jan. 5): The striper bite on Lake Pleasant has slowed down as a result of the numerous cold fronts, but they can still be triggered and caught with modified dropshot rigs using either anchovies or live shad utilizing variations on this technique.
We were most successful in the 40- to 60-foot depths in the Northern coves. The action improved as the surface water warmed up in the afternoon. As you can see from this picture we were catching some nice fish using these techniques. We will be experiencing a warming trend, and the water levels are rising, so the fishing should continue to improve as the weather continues to warm.
Hope this helps all you Striper Anglers out there. Have a great day and good fishing!
