Fishing Report: Green Valley Lakes – now’s the time for great fishing
The crappie situation on the Green Valley lakes has been weird this year. We caught a ton during the weekend. More water is coming in now, which is good, but the cold snap seems to have kept them deeper still. Thus each day is a little different.
Years past a 30 fish afternoon was normal; this year low water for almost 2 months has really impacted it. The low water could impact this year’s class of fish on Green Valley Lakes. The upside to that could be with less fish, by next year the fewer fish could be bigger than normal.
