Fishing Report: Central Region
Updates from Scooter Griffiths of The Arizona Fishing Guides:
“Bartlett Lake (43 % full) has been really good with top-water lures in the morning and slow moving baits as the sun gets high in the sky.
Saguaro Lake (94 % full) is slower, but better-sized fish coming on dropshots and jerkbaits.
Lake Pleasant (65 percent full) has been even better with good sized stripers eating AZ custom baits swim baits early in the mornings — we have had 20 to 30 fish mornings chasing boils.”
Also at Lake Pleasant, a great shore-fishing option is around the 10-lane boat ramp, where boils have been consistent from 5-6:30 a.m. See all the accessible shoreline just west of the ramp by the campground area:
We also recent met with Fishing with Gary Senft to shoot a Facebook Live.
