Video: Native Gila trout stocked into restoration stream near Alpine
On Saturday, Nov. 9, Arizona Game and Fish Department staff in the Native Trout and Chub Program, Research Branch, and Pinetop region, as well as staff from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and volunteers from Arizona State University, and Backcountry Hunters and Anglers, successfully stocked 250 Gila trout (Whiskey Creek lineage) into Raspberry Creek, a restoration stream near Alpine.
This stream is closed to fishing.
