Williams and Flagstaff Fishing Report Aug. 16th
CITY RESERVOIR — Folks were still catching Catfish on the lake using “anything smelly” according to our Wildlife Manager. The lake was stocked with 1,000 Rainbow Trout 8/16
DOGTOWN LAKE — Dogtown is scheduled to be stocked with about 8,000 Rainbow trout this week. I would try garlic powerbait for trout. Try the North shoreline with worms under a bobber for Crappie and Bluegill.
SANTA FE — Folks are doing well catching Yellow Perch and Crappie on jigs and mealworms that were a foot under a bobber on the shallow end. Trout were also being caught on Garlic power bait.
WHITEHORSE LAKE — Folks are catching Crappie on white jigs and mealworms.
ASHURST LAKE — Fishing has slowed down with the summer heat. I would try fishing garlic power bait early in the morning (5am) for Trout. Please remove all the pike you catch at the lake.
KINNIKINICK LAKE —We started stocking the lake with Rainbow Tout last week and if the weather holds we will 25,000 Rainbow Trout in Kinnikinick by the end of the week. I would fish lures to catch these trout.
OAK CREEK — Oak Creek was stocked last week.
